Foundayo: the price essentials
SheMed’s advertised 0.8 mg first order is £89 on the monthly plan or £69 on the 12-month plan. These are different commitments, and neither figure confirms a repeat starting-dose price. [1]

The current Foundayo price table
SheMed lists six Foundayo strengths: 0.8 mg, 2.5 mg, 5.5 mg, 9 mg, 14.5 mg and 17.2 mg. The table below brings its monthly, three-month, six-month and twelve-month selections into one view. These are the UK provider’s listed tablet strengths, not the investigational capsule doses you may see in older trial reports.
Read the first row differently. The starting-dose figures below are introductory first-order prices. The other rows show the provider’s advertised figures for those doses on each selected plan. They do not tell you which dose you should take, or guarantee a repeat starting-dose price.

*The first dose row is an introductory first-order price. It is not a confirmed repeat price for remaining on that dose. Longer-plan prices depend on the selected commitment. SheMed labels this table “per month”; its programme information also refers to four-week billing. Confirm your payment frequency, repeat-dose price and total commitment before joining.

How to read the first-order figures
The monthly and three-month plans showed the same starting-dose first-order figure when we checked, while the six-month and twelve-month options showed different introductory prices. The later-dose rows also vary by commitment. Open the whole table before deciding that a “from” figure describes the plan you want.
The provider page has also displayed a starting-price footnote that does not match every selected plan. Our record follows the visible plan table, with its conditions made explicit. That is a reason to obtain a written quote at checkout, not a reason to assume an extra discount exists.
What the plan columns mean
A monthly plan and a 12-month commitment are different agreements, even if both display a monthly price. A longer commitment may lower the displayed amount, but it can also limit how easily you leave. Do not multiply a headline price by twelve and call it an annual cost: the introductory rate may last for one order, your prescribed dose may change, and a four-week billing cycle has thirteen periods in a year.
Ask SheMed to confirm the amount of your next payment, the number of doses or tablets supplied, the repeat price if you stay on your starting dose, and any early-exit charge. Keep a copy of the checkout summary. Our plan-terms checklist explains the questions to resolve before committing.
What Foundayo is
Foundayo contains orforglipron, an oral GLP-1 receptor agonist. The MHRA authorised it on 10 August 2026 for adult weight management and type 2 diabetes. It is a prescription medicine, not a nutritional supplement. Its UK authorisation is distinct from whether a particular provider has stock or whether you meet the clinical criteria.
Foundayo and Mounjaro are different medicines, despite sharing a manufacturer. Foundayo should not be described as “Mounjaro in tablet form”. Nor should its results be ranked against another medicine by placing headline percentages from different trials side by side.
The routine and the questions to raise
The UK product information allows Foundayo to be taken without food or water restrictions. That distinguishes its routine from the Wegovy tablet’s fasting requirements, but convenience is not the same as suitability. The tablet is swallowed whole, and dose changes belong with the prescriber.
Tell the clinical team about other medicines and pregnancy plans. The UK Foundayo label advises people using oral hormonal contraception to use a non-oral method or add a barrier method for thirty days after starting and after every dose increase. This newer product is one reason older general summaries of GLP-1 contraception advice can be incomplete.
Put support beside the price
Ask how follow-up works, what happens if you cannot tolerate a planned dose increase, and how treatment changes affect a committed plan. Our support guide and billing checklist are designed to help you prepare those questions. Jinkies cannot assess eligibility or predict an individual response.
Keep the clinical decision separate
Price is only one part of the decision. A prescriber needs your medical history, current medicines, pregnancy plans and any previous treatment experience. Never switch products, combine treatments, restart after a break or increase a dose using a price table. Contact the clinical team if side effects interfere with eating or drinking. Severe, persistent abdominal pain, especially pain spreading to the back, needs urgent medical attention.
The useful questions
Questions, answered.
Is Foundayo the same medicine as Mounjaro?
Does the lack of a fasting rule mean Foundayo has no interactions?
