SheMed plan terms: questions before committing

Read the plan as a sequence of payments and obligations, not just a headline offer. Keep the terms attached to your own order.

At a glance

The useful starting point

Before committing, get the payment amount, billing interval, minimum term, repeat-dose price and cancellation conditions in writing. A displayed monthly price does not by itself tell you the total commitment. See the sources.

A plan can look straightforward until you need to change it. The useful details are often the payment date, notice period, minimum commitment and what happens when clinical circumstances change. Settle those points before relying on a broad “cancel anytime” message.

Jinkies is an independent affiliate guide. This checklist helps you ask clear questions; it is not a statement of your legal rights or a substitute for the terms you accept. Public provider information was checked on 26 October 2026.

Know which type of plan you are choosing

SheMed's FAQ distinguishes a monthly rolling option from commitment plans. It says the rolling option requires at least five days' notice before the next payment, while early termination fees may apply to commitment plans. Confirm the rule for your exact order, including how notice must be given.

A monthly payment does not by itself tell you whether a plan has a minimum term. Likewise, the ability to request cancellation does not establish that no further payment is due. Ask for an explanation if the checkout and a general webpage appear to describe different arrangements.

Use a contract checklist

DetailWhat to confirm
Initial paymentWhat it covers and whether any part is introductory
Later paymentsDates, amounts and circumstances in which they can change
Minimum termThe commitment and what happens at its end
CancellationNotice, contact method and any early termination charge
Clinical changesWhat happens if treatment is paused, changed or stopped
Assessment outcomeRefund rules, exclusions and the handling of completed services

Save the plan summary, applicable terms and confirmation at the time you agree. If you ask a question, keep the written answer with those records. This gives you something specific to refer to if an order or payment later needs clarification.

Separate clinical decisions from billing

If a clinician advises a change, ask both what you should do medically and what happens to your plan. Those are related questions, but they may be handled through different routes. Do not continue or change a medicine simply because a payment has already been taken.

SheMed's FAQ mentions refunds when the programme is unsuitable, with exclusions. Rather than assuming every assessment outcome receives the same refund, ask how your circumstances would be handled. Our eligibility guide explains why an assessment is not a guaranteed prescription.

Ask about changing practical circumstances

Consider what would happen if you travelled, changed address, experienced a delivery problem or needed to contact the provider between renewals. Ask whether there is a pause option, how it differs from cancellation, and what deadlines apply. This is a checklist of questions, not a claim that every option exists.

For medical continuity, establish how to obtain your records and who to contact after leaving. The programme-support guide has more questions about follow-up and handover.

Check current figures separately

Use the price guide for dated price information and our price-check notes to understand its limits. A figure on an editorial page cannot replace the amount and conditions shown for your chosen plan. If anything remains unclear, resolve it with the provider before committing.

The useful questions

Questions, answered.

Does paying monthly mean there is no commitment?
No. Check whether the order is a rolling plan or a longer commitment paid in instalments. The payment frequency alone does not answer that question.
Can I rely on a general cancellation headline?
Ask the provider to confirm your notice period, minimum term and any charge for ending early. Keep that answer with your order confirmation.
