The current Mounjaro price table
SheMed lists Mounjaro in six strengths, from 2.5 mg to 15 mg. The table puts its four plan choices side by side, so the commitment is visible alongside the price. These are provider-advertised figures in pounds sterling, not a personal quote or a recommendation to choose a particular dose.
Read the first row differently. The starting-dose figures below are introductory first-order prices. The other rows show the provider’s advertised figures for those doses on each selected plan. They do not tell you which dose you should take, or guarantee a repeat starting-dose price.

Why the lowest figure is not a flat monthly cost
The lowest Mounjaro figure in the table belongs to the first order at the starting dose under a 12-month plan. A reader looking for a flexible monthly arrangement should use the monthly column instead. A reader already taking a higher dose needs the row for the dose their clinician has agreed. Those are three different comparisons.
SheMed’s longer plans also show reductions on several higher-dose rows. That does not mean the introductory starting price applies throughout treatment. If you remain on 2.5 mg beyond your first order, ask for the actual repeat-order quote; the first-order row does not settle it.
What the plan columns mean
A monthly plan and a 12-month commitment are different agreements, even if both display a monthly price. A longer commitment may lower the displayed amount, but it can also limit how easily you leave. Do not multiply a headline price by twelve and call it an annual cost: the introductory rate may last for one order, your prescribed dose may change, and a four-week billing cycle has thirteen periods in a year.

What Mounjaro is, and how the routine differs
Mounjaro contains tirzepatide. It acts on GIP and GLP-1 receptors and is given as a weekly injection. It is a prescription medicine with an adult weight-management indication; it also has a separate type 2 diabetes indication. An authorisation does not mean that everyone who asks for it is eligible.
A weekly injection requires learning the correct pen technique, storage instructions and disposal arrangements. Follow the leaflet supplied with your own device. If you are moving from another provider, ask what evidence of your previous prescription SheMed needs, rather than assuming the advertised starting-dose offer is appropriate.
Discuss contraception with the prescriber. The UK advice for people taking an oral contraceptive with Mounjaro includes a non-oral method or an additional barrier method for four weeks after starting and after each dose increase. Pregnancy planning needs individual advice before treatment changes.
What to ask about the programme

Keep the clinical decision separate
Price is only one part of the decision. A prescriber needs your medical history, current medicines, pregnancy plans and any previous treatment experience. Never switch products, combine treatments, restart after a break or increase a dose using a price table. Contact the clinical team if side effects interfere with eating or drinking. Severe, persistent abdominal pain, especially pain spreading to the back, needs urgent medical attention.
